Our Goal here at FMBC is simple.

We desire to
REACH UP through  WORSHIP | PRAYER | BIBLE STUDY
REACH OUT through CARING | GIVING | DISCIPLING

Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations.  One of the  most important values of this church is our mission to the world.  It begins in our own community, and spreads overseas to every nation.  church members are involved in a variety of ministries from the things as simple as serving in the supper line on Wednesday nights to a greeter warmly welcoming people as they enter our church on Sunday mornings, as well as short term mission trips. The following list is just some of the ministries that we offer here at FMBC.  To find out more about what we offer please call the church office or stop by our Connect Center on Sunday mornings or Wednesday evenings.

Mission Outreach
FMBC is thrilled to be part of the spread of God’s kingdom around the world. We are active in sending missionaries and supporting these missionaries with our money and with our prayers. We support several missionaries and church plants that are located in various parts of the world. Each year, a small team from our church travels to one of these countries to assist our missionaries in practical projects, evangelistic outreach and relationship building. We encourage all of our people to respond to God’s call for laborers, whether it means that they move to a foreign country, plant a new church, or live and minister in our own community.

Awana & Youth
Our youth program that takes place on Wednesday evenings during the school year ministers to youth from Pre-K through High School.  Elementary age children participate in our AWANA program, while our Jr. High and High School each have their own youth group activities. We kick our evenings off with a fellowship meal, followed by our various activities.

Life Groups
Our Life Groups are small groups of adults that meet on a regular basis.  Most meet weekly on Sunday mornings inside the church, while others meet at different times off campus. Whether a Life Group is centered around food, Bible study, prayer, fun or family, you are sure to find a group that you can grow close to.

Women’s Ministry
Our Women’s Enrichment team continually offers a variety of Bible Studies, Prayer Groups and spiritually recharging retreats.
As well as various monthly social activities, including MOMS (Making our Mothering Significant); BUNCO night and Ladies Lunch Bunch.

Broadcast Ministry
We continue to develop our skills and resources to add to this current ministry.  For several years, our Sunday morning worship service has been broadcast via our local cable channel throughout our community.  Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of this church. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. As our ministry grows, so does our need for media techs.

 Stephen’s Ministry
Our congregation’s Stephen Ministry equips lay people to provide confidential, one-to-one Christian care to individuals in our congregation and community who are experiencing difficulties in their lives.  https://www.stephenministries.org/

Peacemakers
Our group of trained Peacemakers have a commitment to Biblical Conflict Resolution. A Peacemaker walks individuals that are in conflict with each other through the Biblical process of resolving conflict, leading them to forgiveness and reconciliation .http://peacemaker.net/

Grief Share
Grief Share is a grief support group.  A video and discussion based meeting that offers help and encouragement after the death of a spouse, child, family member or friend.

Divorce Care
Divorce Care is a support group to help individuals through the difficult time of separation or divorce.  Video based seminar and small group discussion led by people who have been through divorce and successfully rebuilt their lives.

Prayer Warriors
Prayer cannot be overestimated. Prayer moves the hand of God. Our Church is a body of believers dependent upon prayer, and committed to God’s sovereignty. Our leaders; pastors and elders are committed to praying for our congregation and community on a regular basis.  Each Tuesday morning a group of women meet to pray for our pastors, elders as well as a list of church members, any special requests, and missionary prayer needs. There is always room for prayer warriors!

Men’s Fellowship
Promoting fellowship among the men in the FMB church and community is the purpose of the Men’s Fellowship. Starting the year off with the Annual Wild Game Supper and filling in the rest of the year with Bible Study Groups, Cook-Out and Trap Shoot, and Local Speedway Races are a just a taste of the fellowship shared by the men at FMB.
