Family:Brad, my wonderful husband and our little miracle Hunter Ray.
Hobbies: Computer graphics & design, planting flowers, going on walks with my husband and little boy, cooking, basket weaving, going on dates and to movies with my husband, and decorating our yard for the different seasons.
Favorite Verse: Romans 8:28 ~ God works all things out together for the good of those that love the Lord. (I've seen this verse played out many times in my trials and joys in my life).
Short Bio on coming to Ministry:The only girl in the family with 4 brothers I was raised on a dairy farm South of Fairview. I grew up in a legalistic church all my childhood years. I was 18 when I broke free and realized I had been in so much bondage in my Christian life. It was at the Fairview Mennonite Brethren Church where the loving people of this church took my family in just as we were. It was here that I learned how much Christ loved me and how to have a true relationship with Christ. In 1999 I met the love of my life and we were married in July of 2000. After working in Insurance for 7 years I decided I was ready for something new. I had been praying about a new opportunity and God answered my request in a BIG way. What better place to work, then the place that took my hurting family in and loved us back to health.
Fun interesting facts of yourself:
I've went tanking down the Arkansas River in the middle of a huge thunderstorm (not very smart by the way to be in a metal tank surrounded by water with lightening striking all around you; however there wasn't a cloud around when we started our adventure)
I've killed a rattle snake in the middle of a Kansas dirt road on my own so I could have a pair of rattlers.
I've been at the top of Pikes Peak when there was 10 feet of snow and a blowing blizzard and the Summit House crew couldn't even go home that night.
I served on the Multi-County Grand Jury in Oklahoma City for 18 months.
I dated my hubby for only 6 weeks when he asked me to marry him.
We waited five long years to have our precious little Hunter.
